HACCP - Food Safety Management System
HACCP training and facillitation- Codex / ISO22000

In January 2006 the UK legislation requires every Food Business to have a full HACCP plan in place.

Codex define HACCP as having 7 principles in place as well as a full pre requisite program.

HACCP is a fundamental section of the BRC standard. The Codex 12 logical steps have been adopted, however, we would argue that there are now many more steps to introduce a good HACCP. Being able to demonstarte competance in HACCP principles is now essential. ISO22000 further examines HACCP and provides a more detailed model that is generating rapid support.

Training and understanding of HACCP principles is now essential. Seeking external assistance is perfectly acceptable so long as the Principles are all in place and working.

Through our auditing in BRC, ISO22000 and other schemes, we review many HACCP plans every year. We, therefore, understand the technical issues and problems implementing an effective Food Safety Management System.

HACCP Facillitation is one way that we assist companies through HACCP implementation. To do this we form part of your HACCP team and work step by step through the process. The other is certificated training to REHIS Introductory, RSPH level 3 (Intermediate) or Advanced HACCP Update.
